Watch and listen to some of your favorite living legends back in the day. Notice how reverent everyone is towards the master of ceremonies. This clip begins with Dick Clark and I speaking with Bob Marcucci, who discovered and managed the careers of Fabian and Frankie Avalon, amongst others. The 1980 movie, The Idolmaker, is loosely based on his life in the record industry. The house where this event was held was the home of Mr. Marcucci.
