GREETINGS!
Long overdue, at last we reconnect, fellow citizens of our magnificent world. I have chosen to be an active participant in these times when creativity is within our reach. The way in which creativity has always been is magnified by all our challenges. It is true that each one of us does make a difference.
I love life in every form; birds, insects, plants, animals, sealife and humans. Rocks have a particular way of speaking, in their silence, telling us with their varying mineral deposits a history of their origin. I love when the wind stirs to clear the air and the oceans roar to remind us of their might. I love my husband, my children, their father, my mother and my friends.
I am determined to see our precious planet rise to a higher vibration of integrity.
Once, several years ago, here in Hawaii, my doctor lent me a book. It is Power vs Force by David R. Hawkins. Silly me, I began reading it from the last chapter and each subsequent chapter until I reached the middle. At that point my doctor asked for it back! Essentially, the author made a study of energy on this planet using kineseology as his measuring tool. After 20 years of research he arrived at the conclusion that in 1994 89% of all humans lacked integrity. What that meant to me is that for centuries, man has been tolerant to survive with lies. I know how harmful lying is. One’s blood flows differently and breathing changes. The Truth is an entirely uplifting experience and one to build on.
So, the path for me is TRUTH. I recommend seeking out this book. It will give you a hopefulness when you read that in his quest to measure energy he discovered 12 avatars, those who have achieved high integrity, and in 1994 were creating the shift to more honesty for all.
How do you know when it’s your time to be part of the massive changes that are occurring on our precious planet? When you are weary, feeling down, no where to turn…recently, as the Israeli/Gaza turmoil raged on, I felt paralyzed by yet another major conflict. How much can our planet take? How can I make a difference? My husband and a musician friend were listening to my fears and frustration. They both reminded me to stop investing in worry and do something creative. I understand the theory of not sabotaging yourself or your loved ones by worrying. Supporting yourself and a loved one with the confidence that believing there’s an answer and trusting the process of life’s journey is constructive. I was reminded of a lyric,”what do you do when your dreams come true – I swear sometimes they do. And what do you do when they’re torn in two? Just go on, move ahead like nothings wrong; write a song or two”.
That’s it! I grabbed the first writing tablet I could find and feverishly started writing my thoughts. Funny how, when I hold a pen and touch it to paper, a symbiotic energy of it’s own power manifests. A song has emerged from this incident called Love It Away and I will be making a little recording of it soon. My point is: Creativity started flowing when I redirected my focus from fear.
Staying in a creative space is a major challenge. Well, I know one way is to talk to you. I hope this is a beginning of renewed and new relationships, teaching each other that we can all make a difference by just being who we truly are.
One more thing before I go. To my friend Alan @ alan’sgoldenoldies.com, quick recovery to you, my friend.
Aloha, dl
